Mandatory drug urinalysis is required of more and more Americans every day. The scary thing is, even if you're clean (which if you've found this site you probably aren't) you can still test positive for drugs. How are actual drug users supposed to compete with that? How are drug users supposed to pass their drug urinalysis so they can continue their job, obtain a job, pass their parole, or maintain their position in a military or government institution? You're looking for the answer. We have the solution.
A drug urinalysis is generally performed in one of two ways: a drug screen (a quick EMIT test usually done in the workplace) or a true drug-urinalysis test (where the sample is sent to the lab for gas chromatography and gas spectrometry). At the minimum, each drug-urinalysis sample is tested for pot, cocaine and crack, methamphetamines, amphetamines, ecstasy, PCP, and opiates such as heroin and morphine. A drug urinalysis will detect the harder drugs usually no longer than one week from the time of usage (see drug detection times for details), and will detect most of these for no longer than 3 days. Interestingly, many of the drugs statistically proven to cause the most damage to the workplace can be detected for only a few hours after use, while marijuana smokers (and the users of marijuana-cousins such as hashish) get jipped by a drug urinalysis. The THC metabolite THCA can be detected by drug urinalysis for as long as 5 or even 6 weeks.
